Demonstrated drive and the hustle to keep going when there's always more to do.

Clear, professional communication with team members, customers and stakeholders.
The AI interview
Meet Sean, Anaboo's AI recruitment assistant.
On roles that include it, the first interview is a conversation with Sean. The AI interview is optional per job, and the role page shows whether it is part of that role.
There is nothing to prepare. Speak naturally and allow microphone access. Sean assesses your answers against the selection criteria, fairly and consistently.

Location is your country of residence.
Each role lists the countries it is open to. The rule is where you live, not your nationality. If you live elsewhere you can still apply, but your application will not go further.
Your data
Deleted after 12 months if unsuccessful.
When you apply you agree to Anaboo processing your application, including AI-assisted assessment. If you are unsuccessful, your details are deleted 12 months after the process ends. Read the Anaboo privacy policy.

A person makes every decision.
AI assists with assessment against the criteria. People review the results and decide who moves forward.
How to prepare.
Give specific evidence against each criterion. Concrete examples score better than general statements. Choose two or three real examples before you apply, and use them wherever they fit.
Coach-ability
Describe a time you took feedback, changed how you worked and got a better result.
Technical
Name the tools and skills you used, and what you built or fixed with them.
Organisation
Show how you structure your work: the checklist, the system, the handover notes.
Prior Success
Give a specific result you delivered and the deadline you met.
Intelligence
Walk through how you reasoned to a decision, and something you learned quickly.
Work Ethic
Give an example of sticking with a hard piece of work until it was done.
Conversational
Answer the question asked, in plain language, as you would to a colleague or customer.
On the day
Check your microphone and connection, find a quiet place, and answer in your own words.

Trained pathway
For people who have the operator instinct but need the AI skill. Attend Anaboo training and workshops, and earn through paid client engagements Anaboo arranges. Training runs until you are placed. No fee.

Is the first interview conducted by AI?
On some roles, yes. Sean is Anaboo's AI recruitment assistant, and the AI interview is optional per job. Each role page lists the steps for that role. Speak naturally and allow microphone access. Sean assesses your answers against the selection criteria, and a person reviews the result and makes every decision.
Do I need to prepare for the AI interview?
No preparation is needed. It is an ad-hoc conversation. It still helps to have two or three specific examples in mind for the criteria listed on this page.
How are my answers scored?
Each criterion is scored out of 10 against the role's selection criteria. The seven default criteria are listed on this page, and a role can set its own. A person makes every decision.
How soon will I hear back?
We review CVs against the selection criteria and make contact, usually within 3 working days.
Which country do I need to live in?
Each role states the countries it is open to. The rule is your country of residence, not your nationality. If a role is open only to certain countries and you live elsewhere, you can still apply, but your application will not go further.
What tests are involved?
